The cloning of the original website in WordPress eliminated the step of selecting templates, discussing the design and writing new content, since the client, a Family Law firm, had already recently done all that work.
The problem came when they realized that the inevitable manipulation of WordPress to get what they needed made it impossible to update, leaving serious security holes... It was a matter of time.
